George Meehan is a 23 year old filmmaker born and raised in Christchurch, New Zealand.
His passion for filmmaking started very young when starring in his Father's Home Movies, inspiring him to make his first Short Film at just 8 years old!
In his teenage years he decided to pursue his dreams by directing, writing, and editing his films under the name 'Rustic Films'.
George has studied at Yoobee School of Design, and is currently studying at the New Zealand Broadcasting School in Christchurch.

George's work includes narrative short films, commercials, documentaries, skits and promotional material.
He has worked with commercial businesses such as Ilam Toyota, Kidds Cakes & Bakery, and Black Shadow Project.
He has also entered films into the 48 Hours Furious Filmmaking competition, and the My Rode Reel short film competition. Most of his work can be seen currently on the Rustic Films Youtube channel, where he has since grown a large audience, amassing over 100,000 views!
